Base Exclusion and Warehouse fixes

Actually whitey it's identical. Here you had to pay to scan to get the loot to go on the bases to make those hops - you cat just go to the market and buy warehouses and VD's. There you had to pay to quest to get as many maps as your heart desired.

To me, it's notable that a glitch and resulting fallout seems to spark more interest and passion among players than the actual game.

That's because we have invested money into it. Here's a solution: reset all of us that used the exploit BUT give us back all the tib, in game $, resources and base upgrades that we used. Also reset the new territory counters. We will then rebuilt our map in the proper way. No harm, no foul.

  • Jim Dirt

👆👆👆the more I think about this, the more I like it. Nick if you are listening, I volunteer.

  • ㄗعナع ナℌع ℐɑƙץع

End of the day, this was not the beta testers fault nor the players that used this glitch , the blame lies on the dev team and game makers .. A bit if an oversight to rush this game for launch date I think...

  • ᏰᎡᏌᎢᎪᏞ

Nick said earlier that the exploiters were lucky to not be reset. Isn't that a hint? Stop the crying.

This isn't a political system, it's a game, and the devs are absolute dictators. You get what they want you to get. If you try to get around it, you may get burned.

Kudos to the dev team for putting their foot down here. We need more of this in TW.

  • scam app dev

If you believe it identical or not to other issues doesn't totally matter. And if I'm being honest and selfish It doesn't matter to me what anyone else thinks. What I know is this - I gave these devs a second chance after TW and again they have failed on many levels. I would like a full cash refund and they can have the app back. There is no strategy involved in paying to get to the top of a leader board. Although I have used it there is also no strategy or longevity in being able to hop country to country. This app is a failure. refund in full expected.

    Message from the Devs:
All players using the colour BLUE for bases have been exploiting the game. Yeah. We know you could pick blue. Ok. We never told you that you couldn't use blue. We will now cover our arses and remove all BLUE bases. (Yellow bases get 100 Tib). If you have paid RL money then.....We don't give a feck😂😂😂.
Please carry on playing. Remember. The aim of the game is to turn your town into any colour you want (except BLUE and maybe RED in a week). The 'Global' part of the game meant 'Globally to your house'.

Maybe each individual who used the exploit could get to choose between Nick's solution and Jim's

  • Jim Dirt

Oh and let me be clear: I'm only asking for PURCHASED tib to be refunded. Tib earned in game will be re-earned as we build and level up.

  • ⒷⓁ™

I like jims idea but instead of giving me tib just give me my cash back so I can spend it elsewhere. 👍

I have reported all my purchases to MeanFreePath as a problem - Found this on he support forum- You can try iTunes (on your computer) > Store menu > View My Account > Purchase History, find the app, and use the Report a Problem. I believe that setting up a game that basically is paying to climb a leader board is against apples conditions with these game devs. I will also be reporting to https://expresslane.apple.com/issues.action as this game is basically a scam / spoof application.

I am reporting you to devs for offensive behavior.

Apple commit on the complaints system to reply within 24 hours. Seems the way to go.

IMO, Your profile suggests buyer's remorse more than genuine outrage about a "scam/spoof" app.

👆👆👆sorry. Messed up the quotes there. That's me talking.... Notpunchy.

Jim there is nothing dishonest with using a game feature that was there for everyone, and seemed apparently allowable because the app said "16 slots" that's obviously to me an allowable feature because the program would have been written to allow that. Maybe it was a future unreleased feature but how would anyone know that. And the beta testers have spoken themselves, there was no adequate testing time, no situations that allowed for that feature to be tested, and not enough playable map to even matter. So to call them out on the forum is just very small minded, bad publicity, and even non-Christian like.

If the dev doesn't want the feature for everyone then he has the right to shut it down, but not to take people's real time and money.

    👍

All big hop turfs through warehouse glitch should be deleted. Other players hasn't the chance to hop so far, it's really hard to hop without warehouse glitch. Bug using is cheating . Bug using is against the rules in nearly every game. I play fair but its hard

  • Marco

Since the fix I can't upgrade more than four slots I have four out of six slots available and it won't let me upgrade anymore I try to put another upgrade on it and it says you cannot upgrade more than six slots I only have four slots taken I have two available slots left WTF

Ok file your complaints reset your account then delete the app and fight with the developers and apple for a refund. Simplest solution make sure you have all you transactions copied and ready to prove

The Chairman was very clear last night about how merciful he is, allowing us to continue giving him our money when, by all rights, he could have said "no thank you, go play and spend $ somewhere else". No need to beat a dead horse. Seriously though, you ignore reality if you don't appreciate that Nick constantly walks a tightrope between maintaining game integrity and turning a profit. People who are willing to go to great lengths to gain a competitive advantage are what keep these kind of games from collapsing under the weight of their own server costs. He knows that, we know that. What's your excuse? We'll address the problem together and move on. Implying that we're like criminals or people of low moral character who deserve to lose our investment is frankly moronic. It's an iPhone game, not an ethics panel.

Apple will do nothing. You can play this game for free. There are multiple ways to earn free Tiberium. Nick owes you nothing. You will get nothing. Some people got caught up in a inf stampede to start the game. It's your own fault.

As I said being selfish I don't care what others think least of all you. The game has turned out to be a pointless scam. Probably not the devs intentions but a scam non the less.

You seem heavily invested in people getting their comeuppance. That's a lot of baggage to carry around, I'm impressed.

I'm not sure I quite follow you here Addi. Although I don't want to argue with you. Your moving into my little corner of the US and I'm already getting disputed by others for my posts in this thread. Not to mention I'm still a noob at this game and that I based my argument off of what was said in this thread not from actual experience.
Not saying my opinion was wrong. Just saying that it is impossible to say for certain who did what, and when they did it, and with what intention so there really isn't a use to argue about it anymore.

Actually apple tends to refund if a game looks at you wrong. But I don't think that hits the developer. Just apple. ;)

Exactly my point. It's a grey area. No reason to point fingers. Btw, I have nothing to do with you getting beat on. I'm all for freedom of speech as long as its not abusive.

And are you really making the argument that since a purchase is voluntary, the consumer has no recourse? This goes against thousands of years of legal precedent lol.
