Spying

  What about a rare loot item called a spy that lets you view a base's upgrades? There could be a chance that the spy is caught, alerting the base's owner and denying you the information

  That sounds like a cool idea! I don't know if any of you have played Civ 5, but in that game you can station spies at certain cities to help capture enemy spies. If spies are introduced in this game I think you should be able to use them to protect your bases from enemy spies too

  You could see which bases to C4 or to capture to cause maximum damage.

  Sorry about that, I hadn't realized. However, there are some differences. This is a loot item that is a one use thing as opposed to a base upgrade that also makes it invincible. I definitely see your point though
