I think radars, vehicle depots, and electric fences shouldnt be an upgrade, but should be an item that you can 'use' on a base. For example, radars are currently completely useless. Increasing your scanning zone doesn't help at all, so it isnt worth wasting an upgrade slot on.

And what ghostie said is true some shouldn't take up slots. 4 is just too few for vehicle depots, radars, and fences. They are mostly accessories compared to useful items. If I'm going to use them then they shouldn't take up slots.

You should be able to 'stack' radars to make the range 100% bigger with each radar upgrade, then it would be beneficial. You'd have one base with 4 radar upgrades, covering a massive area and just use that one base for scanning on. I'm pretty sure right now that after 1 radar upgrade any further ones don't do anything, i.e. don't 'stack'

I agree. Fences and defense or other 'upgrades' should either have a different slot for them only. Or no slot at all.

I think there should be no limit at all. I'll stockpile all my upgrades til I can build 1 base to cover the whole US OF A!
