  Two cats: Sadé and Joey Da Bomb. A home where death visits infrequently, but more often than the inhabitants might like. Worse, a yard so large the critters feels they rule the lawn. And so it goes....

  Sadé caught a vole, not a mouse.
  And brought the thing into the house.
  Her war with the vole led
  To death under the bed
  She's happy so I should not grouse.

  Then, the next day....

  Sadé said, "The vole abides."
  "Under the bed's where it hides."
  "I am not a shrew"
  "But I'll turn the screw."
  "Til night brings change to the tides."

  I must report the vole is dead.
  Found its body near its lost head.
  Just inside the front door
  It's escape plan was poor.
  At least that is what Joey said.
