  I used to use game shark on my dreamcast to play Phantasy Star Online. I could literally walk through walls, set my level, my stats, create any tradable item in the game, make as many as i wanted, make corrupted item files so i could trade viruses to other players that would destroy their game data.... It was pretty much god mode in a MMORPG which hardly anyone knew about.

  I had some good times screwing with the game for a year or so. Never even got banned or anything. I don't think sega hired mods or anything. MMOs weren't that big as they are now.
