  Anyone know what is actually categorised within the different classes of item you receive whilst scanning?
  I.e if an area has a bonus for production items, special upgrades, special items etc. What are you more likely to get?

  Scan tier 1 in “special items” areas is best for increasing scanning skill, since you will get some Stimpills back to scan more. Tier 2 in “special upgrades” areas is useful for vehicle depots for hopping. Tier 3 in “production items” areas is useful for distribution centers for increasing your income rate
