  Because apparently he spoofed to the Maldives, then got tricked by a mule into letting us portal in. I’m guessing he didn’t play nice, or was running his mouth (shocking, I know) and we capped him out of there. Now, we are huge cheaters because of it and it justifies him using 100’s of mules and map spoofing for the last # of years. That about sum it up Sunprancer?

  Because, WOW, obsessing much? I had a hard time dedicating the time for one mule, much less 5 or 10, or hundreds. The time to put into all of the mules would be staggering, I would think ... Plus keeping track of them all.

  Games are supposed to be fun, and people's version of fun can be different. I like to have an "empire" of states ( counties ), and grow as big as I can. Portaging to a completely new place and competing for territory against others in my syndicate does not sound like fun. ANd when the work aspect of the game outweighs the fun part, most people stop playing ... Too much further after that lies Obsession, the perfume by Loriel. :)

  All of what 4nick8r said is totally dead wrong. I got to the Maldives completely legitimately, I found an active player who had recently honeymooned there and built me a portal. I did not start location spoofing until YEARS later. I did absolutely nothing to provoke your syndicate, as soon as ohms2002 left my syndicate and built you a portal, big boss and others started capping all my bases for no reason. Hadn’t even talked to anyone in your syndicate before.

  Sorry for the long posts but there is a lot to address here. For the record, when I was originally banned, the reason given was that I was using more than one account. I pointed out that there was nothing prohibiting this in the TOS, but they refused to lift my ban. This was before I started location spoofing, so I'm not really sure why I was singled out, but take that for what it's worth.

  “Introducing software or automated agents to our Service so as to produce multiple Accounts” is against TOS, so if you didn’t create all those accounts manually, that could explain it.

  They were all manual, I wouldn’t know how to do it otherwise for a million dollars. They were just looking for an excuse to ban me. I tried to figure out what they were doing but they just kept telling me to read the TOS. I asked them 100 times to tell me what specifically I had done wrong but they never did, just that my multiple accounts were a problem.

  What name was all of that done under? It can be hard to keep track of. What I do know, is we are not a war clan. We have generally been peaceful in a live and let live sort of way. The only wars we have had have been instigated. Generally someone starts capping, lobbing C4 or running their mouth in the forums.

  Found the support ticket - here are the quotes, happy to screenshot then if you don’t believe me.
  “Your account was banned due to the creation of fake accounts, a violation of the TOS.” I asked where this was in the TOS, response “creation of fake accounts is a violation of the terms of service. The ban is permanent, thank you for your understanding.” I continued to ask them to show me specifically where it said that but they just kept saying it violated the TOS.

  Depending on how you did it, they may have not gone any further than TOS A-1-1: all info submitted is accurate and truthful. Were all of the accounts set up to you, or did you try to hide that they all belonged to you?

  Nope, I’ve never denied that they were my mules. I wonder if that applies to North Star though - would you say he tried to hide that ohms2002 was his mule?
