  Trying to figure out what the purpose of radars are? Do they do anything?

  They are used to expand the scan area when you are scanning for resources. Whatever base you put them on will have twice the scan area than without.

  Pretty sure that’s right but I haven’t had a radar on a base in at least 6 yrs
