A more effective chat?

  why can't we have a global instant chat like on clash of clans, the forum system is tired

  Because there really aren't enough people for it to work. As the top thread in the most commonly viewed forum, it still took 39 minutes for a response to come through. This game is just too low playerbase for an instant chat facility to be worthwhile, but just about perfect for the forum system that's already here.

  Perhaps, but a forum post feels like more commitment than a chat would, so if another player is online and the chat was overlayed you could have a conversation rather than waiting for responses on your forum posts
