How many of u played Tw before gs ? Just wondering if the majority of players are from Tw or new , if new how did u here about gs ? , I think they could advertise the game better to attract new players .

I found out about this game on an ad while I was on r/spacedicks

I used to play TW but gave up when I upgraded my iPhone and couldn't access my account. Then 1 day I was sat on the toilet tossing it off to some internet porn on my iPad when my hand slipped and opened up my email on the iPad. I noticed in my mailbox an email from Nick, apparently he's my long lost uncle from Nigeria and he has a small fortune that he wanted to transfer to my uk bank account, I quickly realised he was trying to scam money from me, I emailed him back to say I was on to him and if he wanted to scam money from people, he should just create Global Supremacy. And here we are!

I played Turf Wars for 9 months before getting into this game.

TW is a true gamers app, one where the biggest and best players are usually determined by the time you tye individual invest. GS is how all newer games seem to be gearing towards... "Pay To Play" where the biggest investors reap the benefits which in my eyes is a load of bollox. In games like Mafia Wars it's not uncommon to have an account worth £1k's. TW is what has brought 80% of us here... I don't mind paying to play but if there's nobody on the map and more improvements arent made I don't see the longevity in GS?

I have the same name on TW. Turf wars, in my opinion is much better. I play this as a little side project, just incase TW gets shut down. I found out about GS through Nick's announcment on TW.. But started playing when i was looking for a new game and got curious if it had come out yet. Suprisingly it did that day, so i downloaded it, and was really into it for about a month... Lol then it was back to TW

GS = tw2. They couldn't name it tw2 because that would hurt their tw business. It is the same game conceptually, but gs is more challenging. Also, they rebranded it because the mafia theme limits their targeted consumers. if you hop and grow in GS, you always need cash. In tw, everyone has more money than they need. Also, you need resources to build upgrades, while some say they have more than they need, after a war they won't if they are c4ed. C4 is the great equalizer. Small players can actually hurt big players in GS because of c4. In tw all they have is air support (losing fights on bases) and occasional loot like shoes or HH. The games are different enough strategy wise to both exist. GS is just tw with some improvements and new challenges. I am not complaining, thank you for tw and GS, nick and developers.
