id happily pay higher taxes for those children to be given a chance at life. we would love to adopt a couple kids. it would probably be the one worth while thing our f'ed up gov would spend money on.What would happen if we stressed the system more with your "oh just put them up for adoption" attitude? Also, are you going to start helping these generally poor women in their birthing costs -before and and after birth care? You know the main reason people have abortions due to not having the money to have children?

Today I think we should remember the people who died. Who could've did great things. And I think we should forget the people who did this to us. Because if we don't they won, they want to be remembered for all time for doing this to America. Let's not give that to them.

You do let yahoos make decisions. Bush. Nuff saidI'm happy we don't let just any yahoo make these decisions for us. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. Fortunately it's those with experience/wisdom, education, are informed, and have a balanced perspective of our common society that get to make these decisions for our collective well-being. I can only imagine the country we would live in if some of you fanaticals above were in charge. Open your minds people and consider how your views effect others. You can't use one fact to form an opinion.

The main thing that irks me about this whole controversial argument is that we even have to argue about it in the first place. Men and women have an instinctual love for their offspring. For a couple to decide that they are going to terminate their child's life because it will involve responsibility, time, and money says a lot about our society.
Bushmen or women in Africa don't complain, "man, I wish we could abort our baby because its too much work and we just can't afford it!" -

Potential is the word though! I come at it from a situation where I should have been aborted. All the stuff my teenage parents were going through would have made me nothing but a dodged bullet in today's society. I'm not going to try and change anyone's views I just am asking a question to provoke thought. That's good for everyone:)🌜Dreamus Allen🌛 wrote:

Gade wrote:
Very interesting point gade. However you also have to look at the role in the 'circle of life' that these little cells play. The purpose of the egg is to provide the women with the option to get pregnant, not to make her feel obligated to. It's the same way with sperm. It's purpose is to make conception available and increase the likelihood. These two elements are just extensions of our own bodies. However the early fetus is a whole new life form, with its own unique DNA and whose sole purpose is to exist. There is a marked difference between those two stages in pregnancy.🌜Dreamus Allen🌛 wrote:

I think a mother should be allowed to eat her child if she can't support it, like polar bears.

Three things:
A) No minds will be changed in this thread.
B) Nobody has the right to tell someone what to do or not do with their own body. (Dudes, you can voice an opinion but you vote with a condom)
C) I saw a great bumper sticker today: "Will you also fight for the fetus's rights if it grows up to be gay?" -
