I guess I live on an old plantation
Forums › General Discussion › I guess I live on an old plantation-
I've lived in this house for 4yrs now and kept seeing big rectangular holes in the back yard. At first I thought some animal dug them out, but the more I looked at them the edges were to straight. It just clicked in my brain today that their probobly slave graves, or a murder used to live here.

Maybe the old owner rain a preschool and she/he had them practice shapes by digging holes in their shape... Nice going Sherlock Holmes, mystery (almost) solved, it only took about 4 years though.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions, first of all I would check the depth of these holes, then if there are bones in them. If the area you live in has history of that kind of stuff then it may be possible, but you also need the right climate for it to grow. Otherwise it's unlikelyI've lived in this house for 4yrs now and kept seeing big rectangular holes in the back yard. The depth looks about right from what I've seen online, I'm not going to dig around for bones. I live in south Ga so there is a little history. Also one of my friends defanently have some and they look about the same. What do you mean by need the right climate to grow?TW_Support wrote:

Lol! But you should definitely check it out, at least with a metal detector. Who knows what artifacts could be there, or on your property for that matter. Post an update If you have any, cool stuff.Grow the slaves, of course

I grew up in SC and that was a very big possibility. Be careful, it could be against the law to mess with them.

You know it was legal, and custom, to bury your family on your own property before a certain year right?
-
This sounds like the start of a new poltergeist movie.

If they are slave graves then the slaves probably worked on a plantation to grow Cotton. You would need to right temperatures to grow Cotton, sugar, ect. Not for the graves to grow. LolTW_Support wrote:

Yep... I bet your house was built over an old graveyard... Your spiritually screwed... Seen poltergeist? Don't put in an in-ground pool.
