Nick's Solution, The Brighter Side

I am seeing a lot of negative feedback with it. I want to see if anyone else is fine with the solution and post some positive comments here.

I think he walked a fine line between cracking down on players who super hopped and being merciful on those who had some super bases, but didn't hop.
-
I'm fine with it. But my reasons are purely selfish, I doubt the other side can say much more though.
-
I think it has been handled well. It's only right bases are removed. Players will be angry some may even quit, I didn't feel like paying for any more tib when stronger players were landing next to my bases from miles away. As long as the bases go il carry on spending and be happy.
-
As someone who is going to loose a few myself, I could care less. I didn't spend tib to speed up building. I will, however, say that had the 2-per base exception been called out earlie, like maybe in the item description, this might have been easier to justify and more likely reported sooner.

I don't care either way. I'm not affected. :/ I can see both sides, but I still don't care.

I think te solution is fair for those that superhoped. There are players with bases in Cuba. Yes, it is possible to travel there, I'm aware of that. But I highly doubt some of the top players like havoc or bugs bunny actually went there. When there is a big or glitch that hurts us everyone sends messages to support. But when the glitch helps us no one says anything. If I was able to hope 90 miles from Miami to Cuba I probably wouldn't say anything either, but I would be suspicious. All someone had to I was send a message to support and ask if that was normal. It support found out a long time ago then people wouldn't be losing as many bases as they are. But instead they took advantage of the glitch and now they are suffering for it.

I'm cool with the fix so long as the items are returned. I also am one that is not set to lose turf as I just used the extra slots for agents. Didn't know there was a limit on warehouses, I know, I should have read the rules!

Resources and upgrades will be returned to the owner. ( for non super hop bases)

What the guys who did exploit dont realize that they are lucky that nick didn't ban them. There was an exploit on TW early on about getting unlimited energy I believe. Nick banned the guys who took it too far.

Here's my take on it. Sorry if this was already mentioned, I didn't read most of the replies. Here's what I see: since there's so much negative feedback towards this new update, I can see the possibility of a good few players possibly deciding to quit due to their substantial loss. If this happens, and a few "larger" players quit, eg. ones on the top Leaderboard, and they don't rebuild what they lost, I can just see a large shift in how the overall Leaderboard is going to look. I mean, even if zero players quit, heck, there's going to be a major shift to the board. I can relate to the people's losses, but the upside is that this'll bring upon an "equalizing" of the leader boards. Just thought I had to throw this in.
-
NooYah, the good players won't need to quit because they'll be losing little to nothing. That's presuming the use of the word good is meant as behavioural. 😄👍

I personally didn't use the glitch as I enjoy the sense of accomplishment. Taking the time to actually hop somewhere and build my profile gives me something to look forward to. Sure, I could have bought my skill points or taken advantage of glitches, but then the game is boring and flat from there on out imho. But overall, I think that those who "cheated" should be grateful that they weren't banned completely. If they were, they sure as hell wouldn't be getting a refund of resources, tib, etc.... And if some "big" players quit, so be it....
And for all the whiners out there complaining about the game, try this....play the game as intended. Set goals, don't rush to be a "top" player. Take the time and actually achieve the game's levels/goals and it might actually be enjoyable and satifying. I know it is for me....just my $.02 -
Yes the solution is to refund all our real life money. Simple

I want to know how people managed to loot so many warehouses to stack on numerous bases? I haven't looted a single one, ever!

Well two days ago two of my turfs were capped in Italy. Then suddenly the next day the ownership was returned to me. Not sure if this was due to the other player acquiring my base(distance wise) by stacking warehouses but all I can say is thanks nick for all the hard work trying to make the game equal yet still leave incentive enough to provide interest in in-app purchases. I know it can be a challenge weighing equality with revenue, but I think you're doing a decent job at it, keep it up.👍
