Hated someone at work or home ( probably some two face, or snitch) and actually got back at them? Tell me about it, only if its not too illegal. Lol

I like these kind of stories. I do like to hold a grudge.

When I was younger, I mean like aged 5, there was a kid who I didn't like. He would pbut Sellotape in my hair and just generally be a dick. Then I was invited to his birthday party........ It was at a local swimming pool because he was starting to learn to swim. So there I was, he was just about to blow out his birthday candles and everyone was watching, when for some reason I decided to push him in. He sank straight to the bottom ( of the deep end) and his mum ( fully clothed) had to jump in after him. God knows why I decided to do it, but he never touched me again.

In jr high a girl ratted me out for selling weed. Then at a party at her house i pissed all over her bedroom and stole a half case on her..................
-
That's one of the not so illegal ones😉

Never hated anyone that much really, though I once manipulated the date on some lady's benefit payment so it was a week late clearing her bank. Her son bullied my sister in primary school.
Liked that job at the DSS, got to meet some interesting people. Going back a few years now though.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.👍

I found out who robbed my house.. He got 22 stitches and I got 8 months probation..

Had a twelve year friendship that was based purely on competition. From sports to grades to video games to whatever, he beat me at everything. Shortly after we graduated from college, I married his fiancé... for the final win. We weren't much of friends after that.

"why would you admit to this in public?".
Good question. You would think he would be able to get into some sort of trouble. But the Privacy Policy prevents that. You're all good, Knight.

Toying with people's lives when you're in a position of power is serious business and clearly illegal, not to mention a serious breach of ethics and the public trust. The fact that you would be so flippant about it speaks volumes about your character. False, this is a public venue where holmes made a public comment, the privacy policy means jack if he's not smart enough to keep his nefarious little exploits 'private'. Couple of real brainiacs, you two."why would you admit to this in public?".

Nothing illegal behind what I did, the position I was in and the decision I made was based on a lot more than you know. The actual payment was discretionary and on top of the persons legal entitlement. I was perfectly within the law and ethical behaviour to refuse the payment all together. As far as publicly admitting what I did, theres nothing there which breaches anyones rights of privacy, since you're a genuine brainiac, you'll know this. Keep biting and looking for some moral high ground but you're not going to find it here, sorry to disappoint your anger craving. 👍▪False▪ wrote:

As far as publicly admitting what I did, theres nothing there which breaches anyones rights of privacy, since you're a genuine brainiac, you'll know this. ✂At whose discretion was it to make the payment or not and on what grounds, yours personally? That's highly doubtful. Frankly the details don't matter. You admitted that you used your position of power to punish someone for a grudge you had against their son. I'm sorry, but that's clearly illegal and immoral no matter how you try to rationalize and moralize it. The privacy policy, weak as it is, is in place to protect YOUR privacy. But as with any any web service, the owner could be compelled by authorities to divulge your personal information.

Which I should point out, since we all like clarity, I didn't, do. I actually empathised with the situation and authorised the additional payment. The payment just went through later than it could have.
Not one to blow my own trumpet, but you've brought it to the fold, but I believe this says a lot more about my ethical reasoning to be that of above and beyond. ! 👍

Your story has changed from you being a coward to you being a hero, how convenient. I guess you should delete your tale from the revenge thread and go post it on the good deeds thread. My deepest apologies for misjudging you, oh great paragon of virtue."I was perfectly within the law and ethical behaviour to refuse the payment all together." -

Yawn...
You saw fit to call it out, I'd have been quite happy not to divulge any further information. Some people just like fishing huh?
I've already shown how your knowledge is lacking, nobody was punished and I'm comfortable in the knowledge that my privacy is irrelevant. In fact, if you pull your facts together, I'll gladly stand forward and allow you to take my story to the authorities. Maybe that's what it would take to show you how moronic and empty your cries of foul actually are. 👍 Just let me know. 😉

A few years ago, I had some friends that I let live on my couch. Eat my food, drink my booze. Then got them a reference to move into the vacant apartment next to mine. Long story short they started tweeking. Turned into straight meth heads. I came home one night after work and I'd been robbed. Bunch of my shit missing. After some investigating it turns out it was them. I moved shorty after. But not before I got into their place and took a bunch of my shit back. Plus some extra. Then I pissed all over their bedroom. On their blankets (they didn't have a bed. Cause they were tweekers) pissed on the TV, their clothes, movies, books. Everything. Is it petty and kinda sad? Probably. But I didn't give a shit. It made me feel better at the time.

Most people are capable of some disturbing things when anger eats away at the calmness, while pissing all over their belongings is maybe a little 'exotic' to me, if you felt better for it then it must have been the right thing for you. I'll bet they had an interesting evening after that. 😮
