Any guitar players?

  I've recently just learnt to play my first song on the guitar after starting 2 months ago, i can now ( slowly) play Heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez. What was the first song you learnt to play, and what songs would you recommend for me to learn next? It would be interesting to see what everyone else is doing!

  My sister is learning to play guitar.
  She played I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness.
  I'm decently sure it wasn't the FIRST song she played. But that us the only one I can remember her playing. I'm boring. I don't play guitar. I play saxophones and such.

  I played bass. I think i learned shadowplay by joy division from tabs online.

  Black Sabbath and Metallica. Few years ago but prob can still bash out 'Enter Sandman' or 'Paranoid'!

  Pick any malagueña and learn it. Hard as fuck, but so worth it. Or look into Spanish romance. A little easier then malagueña but just as satisfying.

  First song I learned to play was hey ya by outcast back in 2003. After that I learned a lot of staind songs and a few base lines ( which I loved)

  Umm. I play jazz music and such with my Tenor and basically everything else with my Alto.
  No. No jamming sessions with my sister.
  Guitar is not one of those things I really want to learn.

  All these are simple power-chord songs. Easy to play as a beginner, and easy to sound like a pro.

  These were some of the first songs I learned to play on my electric, and I can still roar out to them.
