50 Cent - Get rich or die tryin was a classic. You can listen to that album from start to finish. It defined an era. Although I can't stand Eminem's voice.. I can't deny that Shady Records was puting out a lot of good shit during this time like Obie Trice - Cheers.

I would add "ready to die" and "illmatic"

  • Dunlap2041

Rap rucks it is not even music. All their "music" is computer generated (like dub step) and takes so skill.

It is music. It's poetry and producers have to know how the ear works. Some people don't do it right but there are still people who do it well. If you think it sucks you can't talk about what it takes to make it. It's hard to do

  • CoachStox

I agree, if it's not your thing it's just not your thing and that's fine. I don't like country music but I damn sure have respect for the artist as it's an art and it's not easy to do. As in everything in life some have more skill than others but you can't say Rap/Hip Hop isn't music. In fact it's currently the highest grossing genre of music out right now. Just an ignorant statment to make.

  • SLiNKY

Music is like candy. It's always better without the Wrapper.
