Who do you think was the best president of all time?

In my opinion Ronald Reagan was the best

Theodore Roosevelt. Dude was a genius and invested in the future of our country.

  • The Archduke

I think we can agree on one thing. Not Obama.

Andrew Jackson is my favorite but not necessarily the best. Idk that we can judge how good anyone since carter has been because of our proximity in time. They have all promoted war on some level since then, you can't judge economic policies without bias, and so much info is still classified or recently released. Hard to say really.

George Washington hands down. He could've been king. Show me any president in the last century that would've turned down all the power and privilege that he did.

  • Benjo

Thomas Jefferson. He stole 1/3 (pennies per acre) of the USA land mass from France. Of course one could then argue the rest of the presidents that collectively stole the other third from the Native Americans.

Right on that one. I said TR, but in reality he is my favorite not necessarily the best. Hard to argue with Washington on the influential or effective front (obviously depends on definition of best for the question). Newburgh alone puts Washington in for the influential award. Managing Jefferson and Hamilton in the same cabinet would of driven any one else crazy. TR would of beat them both and lost out on their brilliance. That is effective management.

Herbert Hoover is definitely... the worst. Only an idiot would believe in Rugged Individualism and Laissez-Faire. Maybe Hoover did such a terrible job as president because his brain got sucked up by a hoover which left him brainless

Andrew Jackson... He was a bad ass.. I remember my teacher saying he shot or beat up a man for calling his wife a slut.. Lol

I kind of like rugged individualism. It obviously didnt work in hoover's era but people should be able to get themselves out of trouble. I think americans are getting lazy. :(

Pretty much the basis of the conservative movement, and in particular the Tea party. And libertarianism for that matter. But yeah, one of if not the worst in history. I know a congress that will be lined up with him. Lol

    Jefferson was a coward.👎

Bullshit xD He was very economically conservative, and made a big leap against his own better judgement to buy the Louisiana purchase from Napoleon, who was desperate for money at the time. Pretty sure jeffy did lots of other important things in his time- but I'm no history buff or anything.

It would probably be Abe Lincoln, that dude was a boss. He had a rough childhood where he came out fairly successful on his own, he lost so many elections but kept at it to win the presidency, and abolishing slavery, he had balls to do that, and face countless threats. And led the union in the civil war, he thought of great strategies to help win, with telegraph lines and railroads in the north.

John Tyler deserved mentioned. First one to become president due to a death. Had to take power but not look like a usurper.
