Yesterday I forgot to add that I hopped another 1.3 miles. (I wasn't on GS a lot.) I could hop faster if I didn't keep running low on resources.

July 2, 2013: I hopped another 2.2 miles on 1 hop & 0.6 miles on a 2nd hop.
I also joined a syndicate & we tested a few things. There doesn't seem to be a limit to how many times you can join & leave the same syndicate. (I was able to join 3 times - left 2 times.)
"Player A" wanted to send me resources but couldn't because he'd already helped someone out in the last 24 hours. However, when I requested help from him, he was able to send me resources. Afterwards I could not request help from anyone again for 24 hours. (Note: I should have tested if leaving & retuning made a difference.) Player B was able to choose to send me some cash though. He then requested help & I returned the cash. (Note: Need to test whether the same would be true for Player C, etc.)
