The good bands like switch foot, skillet, tenth ave north. Mostly the alternative Christian rock. But now and then I'll turn to my local rock and hot music stations.

I don't know. Some of their older stuff had some traces of that. But you're right, not as much as Eluviete.E=MC(Hammer) wrote:
Indeed. Definitely a fan of within temptation. A little more melodic than eluvietie though. And definitely lacking the guttural male vocal.Sh͟a͞doωK͜i͞иɢ wrote:
Ah, a fan of the European power metal-ish rock. Good stuff. I especially like Eluviete out of this list. You've probably heard a lot of their stuff, but Within Temptation is great. Similar to Eluviete.Amon Amarth, Nevermore, Eluvietie, Korpiklaani, Alestorm, Children of Bodom, Wintersun, Death, At the Gates, Gates of Ishtar, Quo Vadis, Ensiferum.... I could go on....

I've listened to the first 5 songs on Hail to the King, and I like it thus far. Not as much as previous albums, but still good.
