Does "R" Disappear If Uncollected?

  I've been scanning tier 1 a lot lately and just leaving the "R" behing when collecting. So today when I went to check the masses of green, I was shocked to see it all gone.
  Can anyone explain or did I just get snaked?

  It disappears if you don't collect it.. Easy solution! Collect it.

  I'll bet there IS a stick-around timer so the servers don't get too clogged with uncollected items.

  I think it's about 24 hours but might be a little more depending on your timing. Easier to collect if you zoom out far enough to make them all squeeze together and overlap. Then just tap in same spot to collect.
