  What does it mean? Help doesn't really give a clear answer for what it is.

  I believe it corresponds to the number of bases that any given player may lose daily (have acquired by other players). It relates to the total number of bases that player has lost overall, not lost specifically to you.

  Can someone fact check me on that?

  Yeah, the limit is based upon how many bases you have to a certain degree. (Idk if someone could lose 1000 bases in a day?) its there to protect smaller players from completely losing everything in one day. It gives them a chance. What weasel said is correct

  The limit is surprisingly low, even for larger players. But it disappears as soon as they retaliate.
