  what skills should I be upgrading. So far I have 1 energy with rest in stam. Also ive been scanning a lot and I think it's increasing the mastery but what does that do? Do I need to put skill points in to do anything?

  Energy and stam i would suggest.

  Stamina is the most important. Scanning increases every time you collect a cache, so you don't need to dump skills into it.
