Using C4 on distance

  I did some disputing yesterday and got attacked back from Germany with C4, destroying loads of buildings. The question is, how is this possible from long distances? I am in Sweden and the retaliator lives in Germany and their syndicate is not present in the surrounding area so how was this done as I cant do it for sure, even if I have C4... :/

  They must have mailed the C4 to your bases' addresses!
  There is no distance limit for C4.

  Well earlier I never managed to see other bases in other countries but I can now so now I know how it was done...
