  Without warehouses, I think the best is 1 center and 3 depots. That reduces building time to 10h and gives you a base with ~4.7km building radius (compared to 19km for the best set up)

  But in the 27h you wait to complete the base you would have built 2 small bases (3 if you wait few hours more) and wasted 6 (or 9) depots just to travel half of the distance (or 3/4th).

  I am not considering bases's building cost (that is very high in populated areas) nor skill penalty for tearing built bases down immediately.

  Someone correct me if im wrong please.
